The pattern for this skirt was hand drafted from instructions in the Keystone Jacket & Dress Cutter book, a book from the late 1800's. It's made out of many pairs of old jeans that either didn't fit family members anymore or had rips in difficult to repair places. It was such a weird and fun piece to put together.
Its first outing into the world was as part of a weird semi-cosplay from the Birds of Prey Harley Quinn (she has jean shorts and a bright crop top/tank top thing that I did my best to imitate...but with a 19th century walking skirt style skirt instead of shorts).
Materials:
-multiple pairs of old jeans, all in various adult sizes
-over-the-top hook closure
